okay so on the case it says co op 2-5 but it wont let you do it whats the deal????

Uh, horde mode co-op I'm thinking, Campaign co-op is only 2-player.

I hope that answers your question, since it wasn't phrased perfectly

You could do 5 people on Horde (as someone already said) over LAN.

jukezypoo is right, the campaign can only be played with 2 people. It considers horde mode co-op because you're working together.

Naw, it's only 2 players, since a lot of the game is only Marcus and Dom, horde is what the 2-5 player was referring to.

Don't worry though, both are still hella-fun

No, its Horde mode only for more than 2 players. Campaign is only 2 players.

Interesting thought, maybe something that could be done in the future. Though no, doesn't exist in this game.

That wouldn't exactly work, because there are several moments in the game where the players must split up. It wouldn't make sense trying to split up 5 people.
