Overrated, overexposed, overused.

Hulk glad to see him (or his brother) back.

My favorite COG to play as in multiplayer.

Second best character in Gears 1. (First being Cole Train)

Why does he moan while he's roadie running?

Carmine have stomach problems like Akiba from MGS4.

Or....Carmine IS Akiba!  Hulk make second revelation of the day.

I loved Carmine since I saw him in the first Gears of War trailer.(Of course I didnt know it was him, but I loved the character design) Then when the time came, I used Carmine exclusively in multiplayer. Then about a month into Gears' life, everyone started to use Carmine because he "looked like Master Cheif"...retarded XBL kids.....

I think that it would suck to be him since he gets a  nice hole in his head.

His armour looks pretty cool, so i'm glad he's back somehow.

Like to play as him in multiplayer. Thought he was a really cool character. I like his line saying MARCUS FENIX? THE MARCUS FENIX. 

Cole is so overrated ,I don't understand why so many people like him,hes so stereotyped. Carmine was definitely the coolest character,and looking character out of all of the squad.
But since Epic has said,he isn't going to be coming back from the dead so to speak(or any kind of weird supernatural shit which would make no sense) I don't see how anyone actually thinks HE,himself will somehow make a return. Unless it shows some flashbacks or something like that,I just don't see that happening.

Anthony Carmine = Gears 1 character.
Benjamin (name that Hulk seen mentioned but Hulk not 100% on it) Carmine = Gears 2 character and brother of Anthony.  This has been confirmed.

It nothing supernatural or any resurrection stuff.

I really don't care much for him.

I used him as my character mostly because he has a smaller hitbox than every other character.

They have multiple people in full cog suits including helmets so thats probably what you saw. I did hear that if you got the Beat Act 1 achievement in the first gears, you can play as Carmine in Gears 2

I liked him, but trust the only guy wearing a helmet  to get shot in the head.

Carmine is my/was my favorite gears character.

The only reason he got such appraisal in the first game is because he was the only character with a name that had the full suit and helmet. That being said, he's the only COG soldier I would ever use online.

I never played as him, but I did enjoy how he said "Smoke out!".

Carmine is actually a shade of red. Redshirts were the expendable crew guys in Star Trek who died all the time to warn the main characters of danger.

Now that that bit of nerdiness is over, I liked Carmine. He seemed like the gung-go newb who had not yet seen the atrocities of war.

And then he got shot in the head.

And we all laughed at it.
