Someone help me out.

I could have sworn in some kind of trailer or video there was briefly depicted a large, walking monster that is several stories tall.  It was not a Brumak, and was lot bigger than a Brumak.  I remember it being blue and obscured by buildings so you couldn't really see what it was.  However, having played the game, it certainly wasn't there.  And now I can't find the video where I saw it.

This is making me question my sanity.  Does anyone else remember this?  Or something I might have confused it for?

coz i was pretty much assuming hed attained it illegally
and even if he did have it coz it was released early,
im stilled annoyed he has it :P

Maybe you're talking about the Leviathan from Resistance 2? It certainly isn't blue, but this video is the closest thing I can find to your description.

I had started to wonder if it was actually Resistance 2.  But I don't own a PS3 so I didn't imagine I had ever watched a video from Resistance 2.  And why I thought it was blue, I don't know.  I learned about this in introductory psychology class, I think it's called source confusion or something.

Too bad there's no beasts like that in Gears 2 :(

How is it possible to mix up Resistance and Gears?

Guessing because both have big monsters, but its totally different art design. The thing you probably saw though may have been the huge blue sea creature in the trailer. Least I think its blue.
