I think it looks kind of dumb to be honest. Definitely not a fan of the gold weaponry unless they are pimped out to the extreme. Why not just throw some diamonds on it?

Pretty manipulative.  Turns me off the game altogether.  I bought the limited edition of GoW1, the fucking tin was a piece of shit, where they actually stuck the game DVD in was crap & the art book wasn't anything I'd pay extra for.  Basically I would have rather had a regular Xbox 360 case.  Paying $10 for a slightly different colored in-game item seems dumb.

Sweet, the golden lancer is just a bonus i actually care about the case and all the other crap that comes iwth the limited edition.
But iam a whore for a Special Edition of anything, you would not be surprised how many times i got burned on special edition DVD's.

Regardless the gold lancer is pretty cool, but really who uses the lancer online that much? It's usually an all out shotgun brawl.

Is the golden lancer supposed to show up on your MP preferences screen like the hammerburst? I put in the code, downloaded the 108k file, but the normal lancer still shows. I haven't jumped into a MP game yet, but I'm hoping it shows up in there.
