Hell if the Halo 3 legendary edition left you with  a bad taste for Value to Price ratio being not up there. How about $130 Gears of War 2 edtion with a LANCER.

If its full sized I would go for it just because nothing is more manly than a gun or a chainsaw unless you combine them.

I thought this was for real. I don't know why they wouldn't do something like this, this game IMO might have as big an opening as H3. MSFT I am sure is well aware of this.

Gears 2 will use what's being called Linked Achievements. Players who played Gears 1 and completed Act 1 will be able to play as Carmine in Gears 2's multiplayer. If you killed Raam at the end of Gears 1 his character model will be available as well. There will be more Linked Achievements in Gears 2, but those were the only examples given.

Nice confirmation but I doubt I'll get it. In the long run, a couple months after GoW2 you'll be questioning why you spent so much cash.

People at Epic Games Forums say otherwise.  I also thought there was an "Insane" edition, but there isn't.  There was a misunderstanding about what Young Clifford said.  You can buy the Lancer replica SEPARATELY on Amazon for $130.  There isn't an edition that comes with the game and the Lancer replica.

Looks good, I'd buy it if it was actually a full-size lancer. If not than the Limited Edition will just have to do.

Well, that would be fun to carry home.

They aren't going to include a full size Lancer. Unless you're paying $300 for the Insane Edition.

It just wouldn't be practical for the makers to do - not enough profit.
