I have a 25$ gift card to bestbuy and thinking about getting a points card to get the new map pack for gears 2, but is it really worth it?

If you want to play a lot of Gears 2 multiplayer, sure. 

i think theres a vidoc on the gearsoifwar site. Go check that out. Perosnally i think all the gears of war maps are pretty sucky

They have achievements with new maps also...kind of cool
But yeah there new fun and look cool.

If you play Gears of War 2 online alot, then go for it.

Well, they've released a series of patches that have considerably fixed the annoying bugs of the online mode. I still can't play it for too long before I just want to turn it off though, personally.

Anyway, only buy the new maps if you seriously play Gears of War 2 a lot. If you play it, but don't spend an enormous amount of time playing it, then its probably best not to get them.

When it comes to matchmaking, it is quicker to get into matches.

If you play it a lot, I suppose it's worth it.  The online is still broken though...host advantage sucks unless you have it and you can still do most of they glitches and exploits they claimed to fix.

They still haven't fixed the Standbying and Bridging in multiplayer.
