    I am going to get Gears 2 soon but I am wondering what modes can you do split screen on with a friend on the same console? Thanks...

    You can do coop splitscreen, and versus if you want.  No splitscreen online like the first one.

    According to the box it's only two on the same console.  I've never tried anymore than that myself.

    yh only 2. co-op, bot matches, horde and im not sure whether you can do private matches or not
