THIS GAME IS ONLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE AT OR ABOVE THE LEGAL DRINKING AGE IN THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTRIES. PLEASE BE SAFE AND NOT STUPID.

I would like to share with all of you a little game my friends and I used to play with the original Gears of War back in our apartment in college. This is meant to be played in coop, and we always played on Hardcore difficulty so it wasn't too hard or too easy. Note I have not played GoW 3 yet, although I will soon.

Normal Rules:

1. When you chainsaw or curb stomp an enemy, you can give out one drink to a coop partner.

2. When you are downed, you take a drink.

3. Whenever you revive someone you give out a drink to whoever you want.

4. If you are killed in a manner that necessitates a checkpoint restart (i.e. you are gibbed) you must drink 2x the number of coop partners you are playing with.

5. If everyone is killed and a checkpoint required, everyone must take the number of drinks equal to 2x the number of people playing.

Hardcore Rules:

1. When you chainsaw or curb stomp an enemy everyone else drinks.

2. When you are downed you take two drinks.

3. When you revive someone they become your "bitch" and must take your next three drinks, whenever they occur under the rules.

4. If you cause a checkpoint restart, you must finish your beer.

5. If everyone is killed, everyone must finish their beers.

Really it's a simple game, but we always encouraged house rules. For instance, ours was whenever Cole said "Cole Train" or "baby" everyone had to drink, but I haven't played GoW 3 so I can't suggest anything just yet.

*edit* Added the curb stomp addendum. Can't believe I forgot about curb stomping...

If you're under the legal age, just replace beers with Surströmming juice.

You're probably going to revise those rules once you do play it or you will end up dying before Act 2 starts.

Nice rules but you'd have to be playing in the same room as your coop partners, online would make it too easy to wuss out.

@Gav47: True. We never played online, just couch coop on our shitty SD screen. We eventually had to buy a VGA adapter so we could use my nice monitor, which was bigger than the TV =P.

@Afroman269: It's not so bad, as long as you aren't drinking an IPA or something. What really sucked were those levels where you split up and if either player was downed it was a instant checkpoint restart.

I wonder how you guys are good at playing this shit with heavy drunk. I can't imagine. I guess that you play double Marcus (even triple Marcus) at the same time. I never tried to being drunk so much while playing games in my life. but I will try it sometimes. it will be fun.
