Been trying to find a match for Beast mode for the last 20 minutes, I was able to find a game for Horde earlier in about a minute. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Haven't tried beast mode yet but it takes me like 5 mins to find a horde match. Quite annoying
 
What's more annoying is when people leave within the first few rounds. 
 
Also the last match i played there was a good amount of lag and a few host migration notifications. Thought this wasn't suppose to be an issue since they have dedicated servers?

@hbkdx12: I'm guessing they're still working out some kinks with the dedicated servers because I encountered the same thing today.

Yeah, I'm having the same problems

I tried 2 hours long today no result cant join a match at all ...they must fix the server they MUST =(

Seems to be working for me, just got into a game fine.

it varies, I get into horde quickly no problem but sometimes beast takes like 10 minutes to get into a match....they should have more than 12 waves just sayin

It took me a while to get into Beast mode last night.

But oh my god was it worth it. What a fun game mode.

I completely agree. It didn't get very hard in the later waves. I managed to buy the Berserker twice towards the end and each time I single handedly wiped out the entire enemy team. Still, it's a lot of fun.

@natetodamax: Yep that corpser and berserker combo wiped out everything. Damn GoW3 is fantastic...

Wait what. According to the old Cliffster 99.5% of games are on Dedicated servers, pretty bad luck that you happen to get stuck with the 0.5 that aren't.

just a question are you guys playing public beast and horde just because? the reason i ask is that with horde and now beast mode i have only played them with friends or people i know, those two modes seem like nightmare situations for public play.

i still havent been able to join a Beast mode match ever since launch day, it just keeps searching for games and players over and over again.

ive tried every day for hours to no avail.

Its the same problem with horde, i was atleast able to join one match for that.

versus mode works instantly, lol.

First time I tried to join I got in one just fine, and we managed to finish all 12 rounds. But, every time I try to get one since then it just sits there and I eventually give up and go to versus.

Similar issues here, which is a shame because Beast Mode is my favourite part of the Gears of War 3 package. I adore it.

wont work for me either...and in versus ranked it put me 1 vs 5....
