And it'll be the first foray into experimental Pay-Per-View DLC. If you don't pay the full price, the picture is scrambled.

I dunno, I feel like that might backfire. I mean, you want to leave a little something to the imagination.

While this may be a case of thinking too hard... it's most likely that whatever process the immulsion goes through to become fuel for copters, cars, etc. differentiates it from the raw immulsion infecting the planet. So it would avoid getting vaporized by the Fenix tower machine. But hey, video games.

One minor issue I had with the ending is that they never explained why Myrrah looks human... but with a series including razor hail, chainsaw bayonets, and Ice-T as a Fuel Company CEO... I should probably be asking more important questions than that.

No idea but does everything run on imulsion in the gears-verse? We have similarly sized helicopters today that don't need imulsion-grade fuel.

Maybe the parasitic element of the imulsion is destroyed. This can possibly render the fuel safe.

I never thought about that. Seems to me that general industry in the Gears universe is going to be fucked after destroying all imulsion, but they might be ok just considering that they have way less people now.

Ok, lets turn this into a serious discussion. In Gears 2 one of the collectible items you find is a flier selling imulsion cars. It states that they get better performance than regular cars.  Therefore we must assume that there's another type of fuel and that some (or all) of the helicopters could be retrofitted to use said fuel.

So, in short, whale oil bitches!

@Sarumarine: It's heavily suggested in the Act 5 collectibles that she was a human scientist.

They say it in the games, all three of them I think.

The Pendulum war was fought over control of the immulsion, after it was found it could be processed and used at fuel.

They're probably using another kind of fuel. Alternative fuels existed before they used imulsion, after all.

Perhaps they watched Back To The Future II and made the helicopters run on garbage.

I'm going with alternative fuel types, or that it didn't vaporize all the fuel, it just like, unsmartened it. Or something.

Imulsion is converted into a fuel through a refinery process called the lightmass process. At this point its converted from the fungal-parasitic state into a energy-rich liquid fuel. It's no more imulsion now as gasoline is crude oil.

The Lightmass Process turns Imulsion into energy, Imultion is the fuel.

They pump Imulsion directly into vehicles
