Seems you'll be playing as Raam himself (the last boss in the first game) and another group of cogs at other points, 250 points worth of gamerscore and some new characters for multiplayer also. Costs 1200 points.

Sounds kind of interesting though I'm not really sure what they can do story wise with those characters, I was hoping the dlc would expand on the locust queen backstory or something but oh well. It will be interesting to see if you can actually use the kryll as a weapon when playing as Raam.

Did we ever find out for sure if the Horde Command Pack maps will be playable in regular versus multiplayer?

RAAM was the best and by far the most effective enemy in the gears universe, it will be fun to get some deeper back story on him, this will be pretty awesome.

I can't imagine any Gears fan not liking this.

Playing as RAAM at his Campaign size with Kryll? Bad-fucking-ass.

Wow - this sounds bloody awesome, and a hell of a lot better than the campaign DLC for Gears 2. As others have said above me, I'm glad I got the Season Pass: at 1200 points, this is half the price of the pass itself for only one of its four components. You can query the pricing of the DLC, but you can't say the pass isn't good valye. I'm also glad they're giving more information about the DLCs, so we know what to expect. How about some intel on the other two?

It's $30 for the first four DLC's. If you buy the DLCs separate, it's $45 dollars. The first two have been announced so far.

What do you mean, this is 2 months from now, you should at least have completed the main story by now so you should want more of an in depth campaign experience as soon as you can get it right ?

It's a pretty good time frame. The first "real" piece of DLC is coming out a month after it got released. Then the campaign DLC will basically be a month after that.

That's kinda cool, but Raam was never the most engaging character in Gears 1.

For me, the sooner new DLC comes out, the better because I can't get enough of this game! I'm happy with this bimonthly policy. My only concern is that I want the Horde Command maps to be integrated into the Matchmaking servers asap - TD needs some new maps!
