Is it me or do they guys look a little more 'in proportion'  
Especially the shot of marcus kicking the locust on 'page' 3?

It amazes me how Epic constantly changes the enemies. Most sequels have the same enemies as the first with a few new additions While the Gears games have tons of new shit all the time.

Awesome read. It really seems like Gears is trying, and hopefully it will succeed, to become more somber and less flashy.  The deviation from explosion to expression is one I anticipate greatly, especially with Karen Travis at the writing helm. She completely changed my perspective on Cole, so let's see if she can do the same for all the "I WANT EPIC SHITTTT!!!" gamers about the game itself.

I can't wait for beast mode.  I'm going to Ticker the shit out of someone and love it.  Horde was a blast, but it'll be a great switch to play as the baddies.
