Ok, so my fat 360 is a few years old and I have been looking into getting a 360S for a little while and found out about the Gears 3 console. I like the look and think it a good deal.

Anyone else thinking about grabbing one of these bad boys? The money shouldn't be an issue, and I could use the extra Hard Drive space. ( I'd be going from a 60Gig to a 320Gig)

Thoughts?

If you need a new 360, it's got a big hard drive and a neat paint job, plus those rotating d-pad controllers are the best out there- so why not?

Well, went ahead and pre-ordered one. money shouldn't be an issue, luckily I know most of the guys at my gamestop pretty well and they will let me use the in-store transfer cable to move the stuff to the new hard drive. Just wondering how easy or a pain-in-the ass the licence transfer procedure is...

@RawknRo11a: It is really easy. Just follow the instructions on the Xbox website and you shouldn't have a problem.

Unless you already have a PS3/Wii/PC, I wouldn't buy a new 360 just because your current one is a few years old.

Sounds like you should get it. Also, there's a 320 gig coming out now?

I've been thinking about getting one of the new ones too, mostly cause I want the wireless (the extra space is a bonus).
The only thing stopping me is the possibility that a new console announcement is  just around the corner.

Just checked out the Gears 3 bundle - looks awesome and if I didn't already have a 360S, I would DEFINITELY pre-order.

yea, only owe like $150 on it now which I will have no probelm getting the remaining cash before the game comes out. Super excited about it now! That is one sexy hunk of plastic and electronics.
