Alright duders, Gears is always best played with other people - post your gamertag so we can easily find others to group up with. The game supports cross-play for Xbox and PC in campaign co-op, horde, and private (or bot) versus matches.

@eder: Yeah, I let the hype consume me and pre-ordered for early access. The season pass doesn't really seem worth it but I don't mind having all the maps for customs. I'm also down to play some old school Gears up until the 7th, maybe mop up some achievements.

Is there a giant bomb xbox live group? I see this functionality in the xbox app on win10.

Would that be useful in this game? Even the PC version?

@forcen: Good idea. I was thinking about making one called "Giant Bomb Gears" if the name isn't taken, but I'm not in the preview program. Someone else that is could make it though. Or if Jeff has already made a GB club we should probably all just join that.

I think the clubs stuff is rolling out to everyone pretty soon. Looking for Group could come in handy for this game.

If you are in the Xbox One preview or if you download the Xbox (beta) Windows 10 app then you should be able to join the club I just created. It's called Giant Bomb Gears, Just search and join, open to join.

This feels kinda beta so far, I can't edit the group profile right now. Try to join if you want, might be good for looking for groups.
