    Gears of War is a tactical cover-based sci-fi shooter from Epic Games. The player controls Marcus Fenix, a COG soldier who fights the Locust aliens defending their home planet from the encroaching Human invaders.

    I don't own a 360 and never really bothered with GoW multiplayer since I didn't want to pay for a gold membership just for GoW.  I hoped on last night since windows live went free and holy crap the multiplayer is good.  The only problem was that there was just a handful of active servers.  So if you own GoW PC, get too it.  Join some matches or host your own.  Now I see what the fuss was about!

    I am very glad they made it free. Now, I don't have to worry about there only being a couple gold servers.

    tis a good thing...it was bound to happen.
    Maybe we will see more games support this....or maybe not...
    all the bitchy Gold 360 owners have more to complain about.
    I gots me some Gold and you get what you pay for as 'they' say...

    yep, but the game has to support it. Not all GFW games do this.
