    Overview

Gekisha Boy ("Photography Boy") is an action game exclusive to the PC Engine. The game was later adapted for the Simple 1500 Series as Simple 1500 Series Vol. 94: The Cameraman: Gekisha Boy Omakefu.

The goal of the game is to earn the most points by taking photographs of unusual details in the surroundings. The player must also avoid flashing objects and collect film while moving along, failing to do both will cause the stage to end early. Images that are hard to catch because they appear quickly or require some additional work earn more points. Taking photos of background NPCs and objects will occasionally cause something to happen, which in turn might lead to a more profitable photo.

The game is known for its many celebrity references, often American icons, and its scatological and sexual humor.
