I bought two copies of it full price. Totally worth it. One of the best games I've played all year. Very cool to reach out to the GB community like this, though.
Gemini Rue

Just finished this awesome awesome game. My only real complaints were the graphics were kinda bad to a point where it was hard to detect key objects and I wish the ending, hmm... as Azriel would say... "Nevermind".
Ran just peachy with my laptop Win7 x64 using DirectDraw 5. I can't seem to get Direct3D 9 to work under any setting combination but oh well.
This is such a great gesture. Thanks so much. I just bought the game and I'm excited to play it tonight.
Oh yeah. That's because the game uses a plugin to create those lovely rain effects, and the plugin is not compatible with Direct3D. Normally we would have removed the Direct3D option, but we used a third party engine (AGS) to make the game and the configuration screen is set in stone. So it's not a bug or a problem with your computer. It's a feature!Ran just peachy with my laptop Win7 x64 using DirectDraw 5. I usually don't buy games that aren't on Steam just for my own sanity, but from all the good things I've heard, how can I say no? I'll tell you how: I can't. Consider me sold.

You guys made a very cool game! I hope the sales have been good as well. Great to see an offer like that too.

@Sayishere said:We submitted the game to them, but they decided it wasn't right for their audience. So it will only be available on our website for the time being. Sorry!Hey Dave i have a question, i already bought the game, thanks for the code, but will this game ever release on Steam? Thanks
I don't understand Steam rejecting Gemini Rue considering they have small indie adventure games like The Next Big Thing and Macinarium available on Steam. They also have LucasArts/Sierra adventure games pretty much running in ScummVM/Dosbox available too.
I now have a virtual copy. Thanks for that offer! I forget who pointed this out to me originally, but thank you whoever you were :)
So, the sale is over. A bunch of you asked to see a chart that shows how well the offer impacted sales. While I don't like to give exact sales numbers, I see no problem with showing you a "before and after" line graph that starts from the beginning of the month:
