    After the cult success of their 8-bit Master System, Sega decided to give gamers a taste of their arcade capabilities with a 16-bit console. Known worldwide as the Mega Drive but called Genesis in the US, it provided graphics and sound a couple of steps below their popular System 16 arcade cabinets. The Mega Drive/Genesis turned out to be Sega's most successful console.

    I know lots of people have fond memories of this system, and there's a pack of 40 games for it on Steam, reduced this week to £5.99/$9.99 ... I was wondering if anyone with deep knowledge of any of these games would say this is worth it? Thanks.

    It has good RPGs (Shinings, Labyrinth), the first two Streets of Rage games, and Gunstar Heroes. 
     
    In other words, yeah.  
     
    P.S. Not to mention the Golden Axe games.

    Is there a single big pack for it?  I'm just seeing four different packs on Stram for $7.50 each. 
     
    If you'd prefer to play on console, I bought this awhile ago and it has alot of the same games.  I'm sure you could find it for pretty cheap.
