Genso Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki is the newest game in the Genso Suikoden series. It is similar to Suikoden Tierkreis in that it appears not to take place in the the original series' timeline.

Overview

Genso Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki (Genso Suikoden: The Woven Web of A Century) is the second spin-off not to take place in the original Suikoden universe, and the tenth game in the franchise. The game was announced at the 2011 Tokyo Game Show where Konami which was accompanied by an animated trailer. Since Konami dissolved its Suikoden team, it is currently unknown who exactly worked on the game.

The game is set to release on February 9, 2012 in Japan. There has been no US release as of yet.

Story

Genso Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki takes place in a world where a monster appears every 100 years to destroy it. The game revolves around the main character who is sent 100 years in the past by a myserious character named Xephon to destroy this monster in order to break the cycle. He is accompanied by his best friends Zeno and Myura.

Gameplay

Unlike Tierkreis' four member party, The Woven Web of a Century will feature the series' traditional 6 member party make up.
