    "Demon Lord" Ghirahim is the major antagonist in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

    Overview

    Ghirahim is the antagonist of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. His goal is to resurrect Demise, who centuries before had been sealed away by the goddess Hylia. To accomplish his goal, he seeks Zelda, the mortal reincarnation of the goddess, so that he may undo the seal.

    Ghirahim's true identity is that of Demise's sword. Much like Fi is the embodiment of the Master Sword, Ghriahim is the personification of Demise's own weapon. After he successfully awakens Demise at the game's end, he becomes a sword once more. However, when Link defeats Demise, Ghirahim is destroyed.

    Hyrule Warriors

    Ghirahim is a playable character in Hyrule Warriors. In the game, he wields a Demon Blade as his weapoin.
