Ghost Squad: A Review By KingreX32
Originally an arcade game, Ghost Squad was ported to the Nintendo Wii. It was released November 10 2007. Ghost Squad wii was developed by Sega-AM2 and published by Sega.
Ghost Squad is a first person on rails shooter, that follows the elite special force team Ghost Squad on some of there missions. In total the game has three missions to select and play. While three missions don’t sound like much, there are also different pathways in each level to choose from and also three different difficulty levels for each mission. The game customizable characters, unlock able modes, (like ninja mode, bikini mode, panda mode…) uniforms and weapons. To get most of these things like The Umbrella Chronicles you have to get certain score in each level. You are rated on time, enemies killed, civilians killed, and various other things. During game play, an objective will come from the commander telling you to rescue civilians. Then you will have to fight off a slew of bad guys while trying to kill the civilian. The civilian thing adds more fun to the game, as you can’t just shoot everything that moves, and like bad guys civilians will just pop out of nowhere. The game also has various other things to keep it from being just a shoot em up; there are also sniper missions, rescue missions, disarming bombs, hand cuffing civilians (hey it’s a good thing at least they wont get shot) taking out armored hover craft and lots more. The game has an offline multiplayer mode called party mode, and uses the Nintendo Wifi connection as an online leader board, obviously there three different ones, one for your area, one for your country, and a world wide one.
The graphics were pretty ok, this game came out in 2007, by this time we didn’t know what the Wii was capable of, so the graphics were Ok they were a little sticky in the cut scenes, but not bad.read the full review here
