$60 console games with no resale value? PASS.

I don't like this, I want to have the box and the game, feel that the game is mine. And think of all the lagg. If Epic Games can't make a server laggfree for 2 milion users, how the heck can some crazy company make a server laggfree for, let us say, 10 milion.

Very good interview though. We'll see how this Onlive thing will end up. I will always buy the discs though, it's nice to have a collection of games on the shelf :)

Not going to lie...That looks pretty amazing, if it works properly.

Very, very interesting topic. I hope this pulls through and can successfully run alongside current consoles today. I'll personally stick to having a physical collection, though -- it's just how I am.

wizards...don't trust 'em :P

Looks kind of dumb. I would prefer to keep my collection of physical media, thank you.
Lolzhackedon April 2, 2009 at 2:48 p.m.
I can see there servers going down quite a bit due to large amount of load on them.

Gypsy tricks!

Call me old fashioned but for a game I own I'd much rather have a box with cd and a manual (possibly a cloth map).

For rentals it sounds great, haven't rented a game in years because of the hassel that goes with it. But can't see it being released in the UK for many years, our connections are so far behind everyone else.

hmmm, looks neat.. but ill wait unti lit prooven good.
Sticky_Pennieson April 2, 2009 at 2:57 p.m.
It's not going to work given how many people (myself included) have strictly bandwidth-capped internet. This service seems like it's coming out way too soon.
Sanjon April 2, 2009 at 2:58 p.m.
Hopefully there's a free trial with this service when it hits, then we can see for ourselves.
slinton April 2, 2009 at 2:58 p.m.
This isn't going to work until around 2015.  The idea is neat to see right now, but it's simply not feasible at present.
TurboManon April 2, 2009 at 2:59 p.m.
This will work IF and only IF:

This lowers game prices to around $40(like PSN downloads have been offering for full games)
It works

It would be awesome to see this being the push for "one gaming platform", plenty of potential, I want to try it.
