Set in ancient Rome, Gladiators fight to their gruesome, bloody deaths, using the same Quantum3 engine as Conduit.

 

Gameplay

 Gladiator A.D has you play as ancient Roman gladiators fighting an arenas. The gameplay has been described as a cross between the " Bushido Blade" and the " Fight Night" Franchises.
 
Players use the Wii Remote and the Nunchuk to initiate the attacks, and will let players use Wii motion plus to add varying attacks.
 
Each fighter in Gladiator A.D features a unique fighting style, custom weapons and armor and different narratives depending on choices players make as they progress through the game. Other gladiators will be unlocked as you play through the game. The game will include very violent and humiliating finishing moves, and the crowd will respond to you differently depending on how you fight in the arena.
 
The game features offline split screen multiplayer, with no confirmation of online multiplayer.
 
 

Development

Gladiator A.D uses an updated version of the Quantam3 engine. The same engine used in " The Conduit" and " The Grinder". The visual style has been said to be greatly inspired by the film 300.
