The Best PSP game to date.

Kratos has arrived to the PSP and he's bringing everything we love with him in the most gory and fantastic way possible.

Story: The Persians are at it again but when the sun plummets to the ground, Kratos soon finds himself in the pits of Hades battling for his freedom from servitude. The story isn't overly complex which in my view is good for an action game. You want to shred stuff, not read literature. This is does not suggest that the story is weak. In fact, its quite good and rich with Greek mythology adding its own unique flavor.

Gameplay: Nothing new here and rejoice in that fact. You will shred through enemies with blades of chaos using brutal and gory combos. At first it may seem all you need to do is perform the most advanced combo and move on, however, as the game progresses your foes do as well. Well-timed evades and counters followed by the best suited combos is the best way to defeat the much tougher foes later in the game. Fortunately, magical spells and additional weapons are added to your arsenal for more of a strategic approach. From there, you'll get a taste for what works best and upgrade those skills first. Much of the enemies and bosses are finished off in a minigmae of sorts which is a blast to perform and watch kratos kill in exotic ways.

Some puzzle-solving is present but it isn't elaborated upon much. I don't feel its a bad thing since I picked up the game for the gory fighting.

Graphics: Amazing. Rivaling God of War 2. Technological achievement without a doubt.

Truly amazed at the power of the PSP system. The characters and environment are beautiful in terms of the dark and surreal setting.

Sound: The music fits perfectly. The game effects are clear and full. The voice acting is acceptable.

Conclusion: The best psp game available period. Nearly perfect gameplay with amazing presentation, although it is a little short and you'll be demanding for more when it's over.

God of War: Chains of Olympus is a PSP exclusive prequel to the critically acclaimed PS2 game God of War. The main story of the game is that Helios, the god of the sun, is knocked from sky and Morpheus, the god of dreams, is slowly taking over the land. So, the gods task Kratos with returning Helios and his chariot to their rightful place. But as the story progresse...

Chains of Olympus does not dissapoint. 0

When I first got CoO I had read heaps of Gamespot and IGN revews saying how dissapointing this game was, so when I got it I had my doubts. But when I started playing CoO those doubts vanished. I will tell you why...Like all God of wars so far there is a complex and intriguing story, it is a lot more focused on Kratos's past and family like the first God of War game. This game is set before the first two games where Kratos is a servant of the Gods of Olympus, and is still trying to rid himself of...
