In Ancient Greek mythology, she is the goddess of sexuality, love, and beauty.
A mythological Greek God. Son of Zeus, brother of Athena, Artemis and Apollo. He is the God of War and is unmarried. In mythology he has an affair with Aphrodite. He appears in many different games, most notably the God of War series.
Artemis is the virgin goddess of the hunt in Greek mythology, the daughter of Zeus and Leto and the older sister of Apollo.
Athena is the Greek Goddess of civilized War, Wisdom, and civilization. and the patron goddess of Athens. She is Zeus's favorite daughter and has taken part in many different games, stories and legends throughout the ages.
Atlas' spirit was captured in the Titan-God War by Hades when he saved Cronus. When he awoke, he was in the Underworld when Zeus delivered the final blow in the form of the Blade of Olympus. Contrary to common belief, he holds up not the entire Earth, but the sky.
Atropos was the Sister of Fate who ended mortals' lives by cutting their thread of life. Many have begged her to let them live, but Atropos is unwavering in her decisions.
The Barbarian King was the the leader of the Barbarian army. He was killed by Kratos after Kratos gained the Blades of Chaos. His army caused Kratos to serve Ares leading to the events of the series.

Clotho is the youngest of the three Sisters of Fate and the spinner of the Threads of Fate, deciding where a mortal's life begins.
Cronos was one of the twelve Titans born to Gaia and Ouranos (Uranus). He was the youngest of the twelve, and fathered 6 of the Olympians that would then go on to rule the heavens.
Kratos' younger brother, He was mistaken as the "marked warrior" which the oracle foretold that would be the end of Olympus. Hence was taken by Ares and locked away with Thanatos care.

Euryale, in Greek mythology, was one of the two Immortal Gorgons, three sisters with brass hands, sharp fangs and hair of living, venomous snakes. She, like her sisters, was able to turn any creature to stone with her gaze. Her sister Stheno was also Immortal, but her other sister Medusa, was not.
A primordial deity of Greek mythology considered the personification of Earth. She and Uranas, the Sky, brought forth the greater host of heavenly beings.
A Greek god, brother to Zeus and Poseidon. He is either the fearsome yet just ruler of the Greek underworld, or a malicious Devil-esque figure, depending on the version.
Helios is the sun god and rides a chariot that brings light to the world.

Hermes is the son of Zeus and the Greek God of commerce and invention. He also served as a messenger and herald for the other Gods.
Icarus is a famous figure in Greek mythology who was given a pair of wings made from wax. Despite being warned he flew too close to the sun which melted the wings, sending him to his death.
The Kraken is a mythical sea monster featured in many games.
The main protagonist of the God of War series, Kratos journeys to the ends of the earth in order to bring down the Gods on Mount Olympus.
Lahkesis is one of the three Sisters of Fate, who determine the destinies of Gods and mortals alike. It is her duty to "embellish" the Threads of Fate, which then determines how a person lives their life.

Medusa is often portrayed in games as a creature that is a cross between a woman and a snake. The lower body is often a snake tail, and the hair is usually a mass of snakes. Other than this, the head and torso are that of a woman.
In Greek mythology, the first woman to exist, mold by Hephaestus. She was entrusted the Pandora's Box by Zeus.
Persephone is the daughter of the goddess Demeter, and married to Hades, god of the Underworld. By all mythological accounts, it is not a happy marriage.
Perseus is best known as the slayer of Medusa.
Poseidon is the son of Cronos and Rhea. When he was born Cronos swallowed him whole and he survived and grew inside Cronos' belly due to his immortality. He grew inside the belly of Cronos with his other siblings until Zeus freed him and his siblings. They then waged war against the Titans.
