Originally released on the PSP, The God of War: Origins Collections attempts to fill in some of the 'gaps' during series leading mass murderer Kratos' arc. But what was no doubt an impressive technical feat on the psp--giving players about what they'd expect from a God of War game just now containable within a pocket--when put against the franchise's console endeavours (including the original HD collection), it all feels a little flat in comparison. Ghost of Sparta most certainly has its moments...3 out of 3 found this review helpful.
Since God of War first debuted on the PlayStation 2 back in 2005, Kratos has campaigned against his enemies across three different systems now, and in this case, the PSP. The Origins collection brings the two adventures, Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, to the PS3, since before they were only found on the PSP.And with the transition to the big screen comes a flashy new coat of high-definition for the games graphics, providing an impressive flair of visuals to both the game’s cinematics and...1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
The ShortPros- Excellent ports of the PSP God of War games- Includes one awesome game and one...ok one- Ghost of Sparta looks quite good in HD. Chains of Olympus...looks ok- Has 3D support but...um...does anybody care about that?- Controls have been modified for the Duelshock, meaning right stick rolls! Hooray!- Runs at a consistently smooth 60 fps- Trophy support for both games is a great addition- All in all, this is the best version of these two gamesCons- Chains of Olympus, while looking gre...0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
