@JJGIANT: I know you asked a LONG time ago, but I clicked on this thread so I might as well answer. Yes, the God mode is very, very hard. I played it on the PS2 when GoW was a new game and it was, without a doubt, the hardest game I playd up to that point. It did't feel cheap, but there was simply no room for error. You need to know the game, the encounters, the bosses. I remember I fysically jumped up when I finally finished it and that did't happen to me since. And I love to play games on the hardest difficulty.

I am currently playing the HD version and I don't think I will attempt God mode until I find myself in a situation when I will want to hurt myself.
