I purchased this after watching the QL and was able to grind through it on original difficulty, but not without lots of trial and error and some frustration.

When I was finished, I had only unlocked a few of the challenges but quickly got tired of replaying the chapters, so I started rooting around the game's code to see if I could find a shortcut.

Turns out it's not complicated - there are a few .ini files that track challenges, which chapters have been unlocked, etc.

On my Mac, they're at /Users/((your username ))/Library/Application Support/com.deconstructeam.godswillbewatching. (I suspect the PC version would also be in Application Support - maybe someone can confirm?)

You can update the "unlocked_stage" setting to "7.000000" in general.ini to unlock all chapters. Unlocking all challenges is done by setting all numerical values to "1.000000" in challenges.ini.

Chapter 5 can be frustrating, but I thought it had the best music and visuals of the game. Folks should use this hack to give it a shot before putting down this game for good!
