    The sixth entry, and first straight-to-console iteration, in the fast-paced sci-fi space shooter series, Gradius V implemented 3D models and backdrops, simultaneous multiplayer, online scoreboards, "revival start," and advanced control schemes. It is the only Gradius game not developed exclusively by Konami.

    And I think it still holds up pretty well. Good music, too!

    Anyway, seeing Patrick's upcoming dump truck thing about shmups made me realize it's been nine years since a proper Gradius game. Has anyone heard about a potential follow-up?

    I've only been able to play it once, due to never owning it, but yeah it is!

    Them renaming Options to Multiples was kind of bullshit though.
