Thanks for that link, I see the damage now. Although it could be a little more obvious damage, like paint scratching.
Also the AI car smashed into him several times and sustained no damage at all :(
 
Its still in development so I'll live on in hope they add it  better than shown so far.

Damage isn't as nice as Forza's, but hey, its a step forward. I really loved smashing muscle cars at high speeds in that game.

Does it matter though? Let's be honest, both games are going to be absolutely outstanding. If you have either console you'll get more than enough with one or the other. If you have both and are reall into cars, there's no law saying you can't have both.  I know this wasn't what you were trying to initiate, but I can't believe how there's this little sub-console drama going on with GT and Forza.  On topic: the Gran Turismo videos astound me. Look at the lighting! :O "

The game looks great, I just wish hitting the walls had some kind of negative impact.  I never "bounce" off a wall in Forza, I usually wipe out and have to get back into the race.

Damage modelling isn't as nice as Forza's I have to admit but hey, as long as I get to set a hot lap on the Nurburgring with a C-Class car I'm already sold.

Videos look great however I shale echo some of the thoughts of people on here. When the fuck is this game going to be released

Yeah that guy does suck. I think the cockpit view looks way better in Gt5 than in the other racing game.
