Gran Turismo Party for the Wii!

I'd prefer they just get the PS3 version out faster and concentrate on just that. The plus side to all the time it's taking to come out is that when I can actually afford a PS3 GT5 will be something to look forward to still.

GT5 on PS2 and PSP? Whatever. Just release it on the PS3 already!

I think we'll gonna have wait quite a bit for that one.

They are sure taking their time with GT5. I hope it's worth the wait although I don't think so. Forza Motorsport is just a much much better franchise right now.

Seriously, this and GT for PSP need to have come out already. The wait wouldn't be so bad if Sony or Polyphony would give a real reason for the delay.

Is there a racing game that replicates actual races?  Like Le Mans or whatever?  I feel sorta weird when I play these racing games where the cars never wreck, like I'm watching some car commercial that never ends.

Who cares, there have been so many racing games that are better and more fun and do things better.  This is a driving simulator, I guess, not a fun racing games.
Will there be damage effects?  stop touting the graphics if after 14 years you still cant get this.
Will there be racing AI?  As in, do the drivers actually race you or do they drive their line and drive with you instead.
Will there actually be online racing?  Oh god, this is 2009 but for this game, this is a real question!
Why is it taking so long?  Forza 2 is out, Forza 3 will be out before this game i bet.  PGR3 and 4 came out as well.  The development takes too long and I am pretty sure it wont be justified, PD might be one of the worst timing studios, only behind ID.
Sorry to vent but man, i was looking forward to GT4 and it was supposed to address all these things, it didn't.

Never really understood the love for GT, true it's always looked fantastic but it takes so long to be released and the actual racing is horrid. Actual make it a good racing game then I might be interested, but there a much better racers out there then GT.

I could care less about GT5. Burnout is all I need in life!

i used to love the old gran turismos on ps1 and ps2..... but after forza came out and even after the burnout series.... it feels like scea is getting left in the dust :/

What's really sad is that Forza 2 came out two years ago and rumor is Forza 3 will be out for the holidays this year, yet a Gran Turismo proper has yet to be released this gen for PS3.  That franchise has slipped, in my eyes Forza is the new standard.

What's with people saying GT games aren't good racing games? Just because they're not arcadey doesn't mean they're bad. They're absolutely fantastic if you're looking for an in-depth racing sim. If you're looking for an arcade racing game, turn away from here and go play some Burnout.

I rather play Forza 3, the cars just feel so much better, the handling, the physics, everything.

I'd like to play this on Xbox. With Tekken 6 and Final Fantasy XIII making their way over to Xbox, my reasons for wanting a Playstation are growing smaller and smaller.

Good plan, I just want to play a great game and not argue over which version is better on what console. I love Gran Turismo, been a fan since th PS1. I also enjoy the friends I spend my online gaming with on the 360 as well. So I get to have awesome and not worry which system I have to buy to play it, perfect. If they make a feature exclusive or a vehicle like Namco did with Soul Calibur did with the Darth vader and Yoda, I am passing no matter what system it gets released on.

It's a franchise they'd like to continue??  What.. are they not even working on it yet?  That's what he makes it sound like.  Anyways, I love GT and can't wait for a new one.  I held off from the Prologue (don't want to go half-way on this type of game).  Get it done already!!

p.s. dlc idea: new models released after game comes out?  For example you can buy 201X models as they are released in real life.  That would be a cool concept.  Make it the Rock Band (continuous dlc, no new system) of racing simulation.

the Gran Turismo series was good while it lasted on the ps2. now, personally, i don't really care much for it like i used to. but then again, i don't care much for any racing game.

Yea this is just the way they seem to treat there fans.  I remember when the PSP first came oh about 4 years ago and there was a sample box of the PSP's Gran Turismo on display as coming soon...  Did that game ever come out???  They like to hype things up but they don't deliever.  In my opinion that is the worst thing to do to there fans, this company is thrash  to me.

Its Vaporware, as far as I'm concerned.

At this point, I'd much rather just play Forza or PGR.

Well, Gran Turismo 4 Mobile for PSP never happened so yeah...

As great as the Gran Tourismo franchise used to be, I think only but the most stalwart of fanboy's dare call the crap that is GT:P better than Forza.
While in some instances GT:P may be slightly prettier, I think the receipt and performance of GT:P has made Polyphony Digital finally realize things have changed, and they have their work cut out for them with the eventual ensuing GT 5  to reach the new modern standard.

By the time this game comes out, the graphics are outdated. And Forza 3 will be out.

Well, I don't care that much because Forza has stolen that racing sim spotlight from me with its second installment. GT5 has to do some serious things to get it back.

Forza 2 definitely stole the spotlight when it comes to simulation racers. At this rate, Forza 3 will come before GT5. I'm still kinda curious how GT5 will turn out though. I don't think it'll be enough to overtake Forza 2/3, but we'll see.

I'd bet my life savings Forza 3 beats GT5 to the market.  Great idea guys, develop for even more platforms and spread your resources even thinner.

I like racing games but man..Eff Gran Turismo. It's like playing a 1997 vision of a racing game with modern technology.

Great, there goes my biggest reason to buy a ps3. Now I just have to wait till this generation is over. It'll be something like the release of final fantasy XII for the ps2.
