    Gran Turismo 5 is the fifth edition in the long running racing game series by Polyphony Digital. The game sports over 1000 vehicles, damage modeling on race cars, a dedicated television channel, lots of races, 16 player online multiplayer, and active weather.

    Oh thank Christ. I had the GT5 trailer running in the background for the entire day and I needed something to get me to shut it off. 
     
    Edit: Just reminded me how shit my connection is.

    Wow... something I just noticed watching that, aparently the game has exactly 0 environmental destruction... the guy would hit those red plastic ribbons right on and be instantly stopped.. I mean come on man, at this day and age something like that is just not ok anymore.... It's like the GT series won't evolve, they upgrade the graphics and that's it, unfortunately nowadays that's just not enough anymore.

    well, don't know about cones, but at least signs, banners and flimsy plastic ribbons are virtually indestructible by your 2 ton car.... that's a major bummer, jez I mean did the guys at polyphony even saw any dirt 2 footage at all???, and that was released what 2 years ago? talk about a huge immersion breaker.

    Yeah, that seems totally derp to not include. You can knock over the distance signs (for a turn) in Forza as well.

    @Hailinel: Meh.  The way I saw it, they started it first so I couldn't let them get a free shot.  Sure it was their stream, but whatever...the other French steam was nice and friendly and the broadcaster tried to speak in English.  Besides, I got history with French people (long story short it involves horses, alcohol, and misuse of firearms).  They don't like me, and I don't like them.

    Too bad the dood is driving in 3rd person.  Game looks great.
     
    And Forza is awesome.  But, sorry, GT is THE driving game to buy.  I liked Prologue so I don't see how the full game will disappoint me.
