Sup, guys? How does it feel to play the best GTA ever? Yeah I'm pretty sweet, huh? All those neat cars you can drive. Police chases, zappin people, gunning people, flame throwin'. 

I think this is officially available for free on the Rockstar site. PC version.

@BulletproofMonk : I know you couldn't save in the PS1 version, although if I remember correctly once you'd completed a city you can always select the next city from the start menu.  I might be talking bollocks though.
