Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City

Game » consists of 18 releases. Released Oct 29, 2009

The Lost & Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony are collected onto this standalone disc of Grand Theft Auto IV's post-release content.

Is it worth it just for BOGT?

I need an honest answer GB.

i own both the original GTA4 and i downloaded TLAD when it came out but i still want to buy the box with the disc that is episodes of liberty.

Now the main reason episodes of liberty exists is for people who didn't get TLAD and don't own GTA4 as it is stand-alone and works without GTA4 (unlike the downloads) but I'm a massive ownership whore and greatly enjoy having the boxes to a game along with a disc.

So all logic dictates i should simply download ballad of gay tony, but my urge to own a physical copy says otherwise.

    What do i do?

Interesting, I am in the same boat and I hadn't thought about that. Any idea how big the game file is?

Lost and Damned is 1.8 GB, so around that ballpark.

@Zabant: I'm in the same goat too but the hard copy is like more than double the price of just TBoGT also I'm short on money as of buying Borderlands and a new graphics card.

Is owning an actual disc worth $20 you don't need to spend? If it were me I would save the money and just download the new episode, considering you already own the first.

I'm wondering about this too. Someone in a thread the other day said that Fernando Martinez's radio station is exclusive to the disc version, but I find that really hard to believe. I'd like to have the disc, but it does seem foolish to me to buy it when I already bought the DLC. However, like you, I only have a 20GB harddrive, and dude, I'm down to about 2GB left, and honestly I don't really have all that much stuff saved on my 360. It's a waste of $20 to buy the disc, but it wouldn't be the end of the world. If I do download The Ballad of Gay Tony, I'll pretty much lose all the rest of my harddrive space, and that would suck quite a bit. If I go with the disc, I suppose I could let family borrow it and enjoy it too. This is quite a pickle.

why not consider buying the download version, finishing it, then deleting it when you're done? If you ever want to play it again, you can re-download, but honestly, I haven't touched TLAD since I beat it.
