The multiplayer only managed to hold on to me for the first week or so.. after that the 'Party system' just started to annoy the hell out of me..

Team FOrtress 2 still has my attention today

Me and my friend used to play team deathmatch, it got really boring after 3 weeks, I kind of lost incentive after level 6

I barely touched the multiplayer...unfortunately.

I've played a lot of multiplayer, just haven't done a lot of ranked yet.

i play once in a while but now that BF:BC is out i really don't play like i used to.

Man I havent played in a while, I loved playing Cop n Crooks, GTA race, Race and Turf war. TF2 has been taking all my Multiplayer time.

They need to slap some new menus in it. I don't like being kicked back to my single player save when a game drops.

i've never gotten the chance to try that out yet

If anything multi player is what keeps me playing a game.  I played SOCOM 2 for the ps2 for years just because of its online community.

I barely played it it was just too slow and I really didn't enjoy it

I don't really like the GTAIV multiplayer. I played it a few times, and never touched it again.

I felt that if you weren't playing with people who wanted to have a plan of attack and come up with some strategy it wasn't really all that fun, it kind of just turned into deathmatch every time.

Haven't touched and public multiplayet to be honest - kinda tough to motivate my friends to jump on the game. Anyone know if the servers are still busy?

I think it's been a couple of weeks since I last played GTAIV online.  I was hooked at first I just got wrapped up into other games after awhile.

I quit playing not long after it came out. It was an interesting diversion, but it simply paled too much in comparison to the stellar single player to keep me interested for too long.

Now that Rockstar's got their feet wet with a full-scale online multiplayer mode for consoles, maybe the next GTA will have something of a more robust nature.

no, i didn't think it was good, soming felt weird, as Mourne said, it didn't seem as good as its multiplayer competitors (bfbc. cod4. things as such)

I don't like it because every time I've played it, nobody wanted to work as a team.

GTA multiplayer has never been my thing, honestly the controls are responsive enough for fighting against computer-controlled enemies in single player, but just aren't up to the task against human beings.

Is it just me or do you find it extremely difficult to find a game already in progress? I always have to create a room and match and pray that enough people join to play. Hopefully Rockstar has something planned with the DLC because this game needs a booster shot right about now.

I played the first week, was fun but then the novelty wore off.  I am going back though this week to get that viral achievement.  Other than that, its more fun to relieve stress in the single player.

I didn't play multiplayer for long, at all. I hooked up with some people online a few times to muck about, and that was fun, but it's just not that great for multiplayer. The single player is where it's at!

I only played about 3 games of multiplayer and got bored of it.

It was a good idea in concept, but it just isn't that fun.

Honestly I didn't even try the multiplayer....

I play it sometimes, but the ranks take far too long to get so I've given up.

With games like CoD4 multiplayer, i dont have much time for GTA multiplayer =P

aah well i just liked playin multiplayer in rueo 08 and cod4 but other mutiplayer games use to just  piss me off

The only time I play it now is when I get a few friends together and we just run around in Free Roam.  The other modes were alright while they lasted, but just screwing around Liberty City was the best part

Started playing it for like a week, got kind of boring so moved on.

I occasionally play free roam with my friends but i'm not addicted to it as i am with COD4.

I played multiplayer a lot to get the AUF WIEDERSEN PETROVIC achievement and I need to play it a lot more to get WANTED but that is going to be HANGMAN'S NOOSE over and over again so I am waiting to see what the DLC is and my brother is borrowing the game right now. I really enjoy Team Mafiya Work but I can't play it over and over again like GEARS.

I did play it for a while, but every gametype just went to hell pretty much as soon as you started. I remember doing races where by the last lap, i'd be the only one racing and the 11 other people would just be by the start line shooting each other.

I tried and got into it for a bit, problem was that it didn't hook me, which multi player needs to do for me to stick with it. Who wants to play as some random ass character when you can be Niko

played the multiplayer like once I think.

i barely played it, everytime I tried joining a game i got disconnected for some reason or another.
Then id return to single player, start up multiplayer, find a match and get disconnected again.

TBH, GTA online is boring as hell

it seems that the muliplayer would get old after a while but thats why games like Team Fortress 2 are out there

I have enjoyed the multi mode but I haven't gotten the quick head-shots down like most of the folks and therefore don't really fare well.  But I agree, with games like COD4, BFBC, and Warhawk, there really isn't the same pull to play that game online. 

Tried it a few times, not really liking it so much because of the cell phone navigation.

I didn't play too much multiplayer, and I won't... I didn't bought GTA IV for it's multiplayer.

I didn't like the GTA IV multiplayer. Why does everyone have to ready up first? It seems there's always one or two people not able to. Also, there were just too many multiplayer options. I wish they would streamline some of the information. Played a couple of matches, but that's it.

I moved onto Battlefield: Bad Company

No. I'm playing TF2. It's sooo much better.

I kind of do, although I never got much into it.
