I haven't picked it up since after I beat is almost a year ago, maybe more? At this point I can't even remember how long ago it was. With that being said, I popped it in yesterday to finally play TLAD and so far I'm enjoying it again. I never had anything against the game, I just lost interest when I beat it. But I'll enjoy it as long as I can again then move on .. again.

While driving past an oil refinery tonight, it made me think of GTAIV and want to play it again. You have that big refinery section in lower Alderney, and some have pipes with flames shooting out. I wanted to play just to see if those big flames would actually light me on fire and kill me. Guess what I'll be doing with a helicopter tomorrow ;)

I think replayability with this game is down to the individual user's preivious experiences with games like this, to me I'd done everything I wanted to in a realistic sandbox-style game in GTA3 and Vice City.
San Andreas pushed the boundaries of said realism and I thought was better for it, now I do appreciate the approach to revert back to a more serious tone, but personally I preferred the more outlandish way the series seemed to be going, dont get me wrong I dont wanna play Saints Row where its completely insane, but jacking army helicopters and stealing plans from Area 51 was good fun and added a nice bit of variety!
Again personal taste, but I think the gameplay mechanics of Prototype breath new life into the free roaming genre, and after you get the hang of the controls, its a delight to play and explore.
GTAIV for me, grew old almost as soon as I'd finished it, I downloaded Lost & Damned just because it was new GTA content and some part of me told me I should, but I have since sold GTAIV and I wont be getting 'The Ballad Of Gay Tony' as honestly, I dont think I'll be missing out!

I play it regularly, a great, great game. Had some minor flaws but overall the game was awesome. And what's up with people complaining about the car handling? It was great, cars are so easy to control. It takes a few minutes to get used to it, but it's worth it.
