So seeing this on IGN I thought, oh okay cool, they added the option to go first person...but then I watched the video and realized they actually nearly made it into a first person shooter...I'm talking iron sights and everything. I'm amazed they were able to do this..I can't even imagine what they must've put into this to make the FP mode this fully realized.

They actually added different control schemes - so you can play Rainbow Six style and go third person when taking cover. Oh my. Getting excited. 2014's 2013 GOTY?

I'm not sure if that article mentions it, but modders attempted to do this and had a working prototype back in June. It's cool that they've officially put it in, but it doesn't surprise me that they managed to do it when other's got there first.

I know there screenshots from the developers, but screencaps look damn good. Hope we see Rockstar using the power of PS4/Xbox One and PC to the utmost.

Yeah I remember reading that there was a first person function found deep within original GTA 5, like they say I guess it's something they've been considering for a while and I wonder if they first tried it out on last gen version but weren't satisfied.

Fuuuuuuck I was gonna wait for this to get a price drop before I double dip on it but this is making that a lot more difficult. Playing GTA V again but entirely in first person sounds amazing.
