any first reactions on ps3 vs 360 yet ? gta 4 and red dead on ps3 has me concerned.

Looks amazing. I'd like it if there were some person playing the game who promised to do zero story things. I don't mind anything getting spoiled as it relates to the world or what you can do in it, really. I just don't want to see any character development.

Hopefully I can avoid anything too damning between now and Tuesday morning.

I can't wait for this to leak. I have pre payed for the CE on 360 but would love to play it earlier on my dev kit.

I have to admit, it looks like it runs pretty damn smooth. Also the video on that dude's vine of the Ballas and Vagos have got me realllllllyyyyy excited to play as Franklin.

Rockstar has said that GTA V is the first game that they have developed for both consoles at the same time, rather than developing a game on a lead platform, and then porting it to the other. They have said that the games are very similar to each other, and it would be hard to tell them apart graphically. We'll likely find out if that's true once LensOfTruth releases their Head2Head article.

DAMN!!! Both my 360 and PS3 are broken and I do not want to buy a new system for one game. =( The PC version cannot come fast enough.

I'm pretty god damn impressed Rockstar made this game look as good as it does. Those are some low quality ass GIF's right there but just seeing it in motion you can tell that its really good looking.

Microsoft does not ban consoles or gamertags for playing legitimate retail games early. This has been confirmed numerous times in the past, they just don't do it. If that guy's console was really banned, it's because it was modified and he was playing "backups" on it, whether it be GTAV or other games.

I have gotten early access to many games over the life of my Xbox 360. Notable examples include Halo 3 a full two weeks early, and most recently I picked up Borderlands 2 a full week early. Every time I get a game early I play while connected to Xbox Live, earn achievements, and play online multiplayer against journalists, game industry people, and pirates. Never had a problem and in fact, before I played Halo 3 early I asked Larry Hyrb at Microsoft about it and he confirmed that it was fine as long as my copy was legit.

So, unless MS official policy on this has changed recently, playing retail games early is totally fine and will not get you banned.

I'm sure it was legit, but that doesn't mean his Xbox 360 hasn't been modified to play "backups" or JTAG'd or something like that. The other thing about console bannings is they normally are done in batches that are weeks or sometimes months apart...so the fact that his console was banned while playing an early copy of GTAV is probably purely coincidental.

Any one know if there are separate stat screens for each character? I mean like in terms of kill count and what not.
