Hey guys, I had a funny thought, and I wish to share with you all. 
 
Let's make a list of Rock Band titles we would rather see than Green Day: Rock Band. Just to be clear, I got no hate for Green Day, this is just for funsies. ^_^

I think a Porcupine Tree Rock Band game would be AMAZING!!!

The Beatles are a tough act to follow. Why they chose Green Day is mind numbing. Nevertheless:

nobody deserves a dedicated rock band imo. i will admit that the beatles rock band is great fun, but i'd just rather there be one big hub, where they release whole libraries for certain acts.

Dream Theater

The only bands I'd definitely buy a Rock Band game of over Green Day at this point are Muse or a version of AC/DC that isn't questionable live tracks. I doubt either will happen in the near future, but I'd enjoy them. Whether a band is more "deserving" is not a trait that's going to get me to put down money on a game, quite frankly, and I have absolutely no interest in buying games focused on any other bands listed so far.
 
Beyond that, I'd be fine if we did away with band-focused Rock Band/Guitar Hero games, and just focused on more DLC/improvements of the standard products.

Seriously, as an ACDC fan I'd also love a "proper" RB game about them but I don't see it happen.
 
The only band I'd buy a RB game solely dedicated to would be Led Zeppelin. They have vast library of songs that are catchy to listen to and fun (and even challenging) to play.

Pinkfloyd and Journey, throw in some Rainbow for good measure.

Let's talk about Pink Floyd. I don't get why people would want a RB game about them. I love many of their songs but quite frankly they wouldn't be fun to play apart from the occasional solo.

I could be here for a long while listing bands more deserving than Green Day but the only band I would buy a branded Rock Band for is Queen.  Maybe Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, or Tool but I don't see those ever actually happening.
