I have heard a lot of rave reviews of this game, but I am unsure on spending $60 on this right now.  To the people that have it, is it really good and worth getting?

It is a very run racing game. If you like games like Forza/GT with customization then this might not be a game for you since there aren't any ( sponsor stickers don't count). If you like a game with pure racing fun then it's worth the $.

I haven't played it, but my bud has, and he liked it.

I played the demo and it seemed like a pretty cool game, but If I were you I would try to rent it first just to be sure, it sucks paying $60 for a game and hating it.

If you played DiRT and liked it, then you'd like GRID.  That is, if you enjoy racing games in general.

Play the demo, it's looks and plays great.  I don't know if I would spend $60 but it's worth checking out.

This game is brilliant and definately worth getting. It puts all other racing games to shame, probably with the exception of Forza 2 but that's a sim.

The only issue is the game could really use weather conditions! I can't believe they never put any sort of weather in.

Yeah I've been thinking of getting this one too.

i bought the full game after looking forward to it for a long time, I thought that it was and still is an awesome game and if you like racing games it is ultimately the best driving experience there is. This is however if your not looking for the ultimate racing simulation its arcadey with simulation and it may be a bit brief but in my opinion its just great, buy it :)

definitely it worth $60 but i'd recommend you to play the demo first. who knows, you may have a different taste for gaming.
