Just thought I would make a topic to see how many people on Giant Bomb still love this game.

One here! From the northern country of Finland. The game is still amazing and maybe the most best written and acted than any other games ever made. The characters are all unique, very funny in their own way and just have(allthough lack of inner organs, except for Glottis) their own beating hearts. Music for the game is just perfect which makes you feel the place and characters. And I just love the art style it has. Everything just connects in this game.

This game deserves a score 10+ out of 10.

The aspect I've come to appreciate recently is the graphics. The writing and acting are great, yes, but the graphics are good enough to still hold up today. If it weren't for the somewhat low resolution and the pointyness of the spirit-of-the-land characters, it might be tough to tell how early 3D was at that point. But really, great on all fronts... except perhaps for the actual game play. Ah well, it's a little too late to make it a movie instead of a game. ;)

Grim Fandango is my favorite game.

Hard not to love this classic. The game holds up even 10 years later.

Grim Fandango is one of my most favorite games of all time.  It has such great characters and a tremendous story.  It's one of the few games that has a true bittersweet ending.  The story wraps up so well, yet I'm always so sad that the ride is over.

All of this researching the game for this site has made me dig up my copy and play it again.

Along with the Monkey Island games, Grim Fandango is one game I will never throw out or sell. Timeless classic imo.

Well, considering my nickname and that i finished the game for 7 times...well, i'd say im a big fan of it ;)

I refused to play the game when it came out, because I was horrified they felt the need to replace awesome cartoon characters by awfully ugly polygonal messes just because games had been going 3D. I think this was my first real boycott in the gaming business, and I'm still mad at them for abandoning the hand drawn animated goodness that I was used to with LucasArts Adventures. I daresay this move was vital in the downfall of the genre - LucasArts went polygone, thus no one dared to produce drawn 2d graphics adventures anymore.

I still haven't played it.

I've never played it but you guys and my friend are encouraging me to play this game. Will give it try soon especially since my 360 died so this a perfect time to lend it from my friend.

My brother just got it for his laptop. I would like to play it, but unfortunately my computer has this thing against games. However, I'm pretty intrigued just from watching him play it. I like the atmosphere and mexican theme.

Sign me up! I love Grim Fandango and I'm proud to say it's my favourite video game of all time. I'm dead frickin' serious!!! It's just too bad neither LucasArts nor Double Fine (Tim Schafer's company) took Grim Fandango to a whole new level. I would love if they port this game to the PSP or something. That'd be awesome! Grim is a hard game to find nowadays and the only place you have a chance of getting one is through the Internet. If you have not played this game yet, I'd say go buy one now!!!
