It's Year 2 - this isn't even a contest.  The camera sweep up / sweep down when it changes to Year 2 is glorious.  Also this:
 
  

I love the first year. Something about the office setting but in the world of the dead really gets me. I love the parade going by in the background and the empty offices.

Second. Lengthiest, best characters, seeing manny as a cool-ass, casablanca style bar owner was superb, glottis has great input. just thinking about it makes me wanna cry.

Year 2 is the best because it's amazing how manny changed that club around and how swanky its become

I remember going to the tattoo parlor/boat just to look at the water animation. That was amazing stuff back in the day.

Every second of every minute of every hour in that game is pure bliss.

Amazingly well.

Year 2, year 2! It was so memorable, I honestly don't remember the other years at all. Well no, first year was pretty good too, but the second one has so many memorable scenes. It was the longest too I think? Wasn't it?

P.S. 
I truly hope this game will never get a sequell or a remake!    

I love this game. After listening to Rusty Anchor I am compelled to fire it up again. The second year is so great and anything that invokes a Casablanca vibe is solid in my book.

I feel like I'm missing out never having played this game. Does it hold up if I were to play it today?

This game deserves to be played by anyone, truly great.

Also in agreement concerning Year 2 being the best year, despite the Betting Stub puzzle still confusing the hell outta me =_=
