Go to Jewel Man's level and beat the boss, attain his Jewel Satellite weapon, then go to Plug Man's level where the exploit can be found. Early in the Plug Man's stage there are small rotating tubular type enemies from the past games that float around out of spawn points. Where there is numerous enemies spawning, position yourself on the ground where there is a floating platform to the left and a small platform to the right, stay on the ground and switch Jewel Shield on. The spawning enemies above will float down and be killed instantly leaving you many screws in the process. Leave the game running for a couple of hours and you will get the maximum amount of screws which is 4999. You can spend these screws in the shop to buy items.
