Welcome to the Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts Achievement guide, there are 50 achievements totalling to 1,000 points, there are three different types of achievement available Single Player achievements, Multiplayer achievements and Other achievements.

Single Player Achievement Guide


Pointless Collector

Take part in the L.O.G. badge collecting challenge at the start of the game in Sprial Mountian - 10G

This will be the first single player achievement you will get, you get it by taking part in L.O.G.'s collecting game, it's all part of the introduction to the game and you can't progress though the game without it.

Game Globe Acievements

To unlock the Game Globes you have to win Jiggies from the challenges, when you have banked enough Jiggies the game will turn into a cut scene of the the Game Globe coming out of L.O.G.'s tower, when the cut scene has finished the Globe will be next to L.O.G.'s tower on top of the hill. (If you do not have the High grip tyres you will have to go around the hill to find a ramp you can go over)

Open Nuts - Place the Nutty Acres Game Globe on its plinth in Showdown Town - 10G

When you enter Showdown Town, this is the first Globe you will recieve, when you get it put it in your vehicle and take it to the main square in Showdown town, the plinth will be there.

  • Next-Next-Gen - Place the LOGBOX 720 Game Globe on its plinth in Showdown Town - 10G

Requires 2 Jiggies banked
The plinth for this one is in the theater district.

  • History Lesson - Place the Banjoland Game Globe on its plinth in Showdown Town - 15G

Requires 6 Jiggies banked
This the plinth for this one is in the area behind Trophy Thomas' house, you can get the Globe there without them but it becomes a lot eaiser if you have the 'Floaters' added to your trolly, these are earned after beating Grunty in the LOGBOX 720 world

  • Let the Game Begin - Place the Jiggosseum Game Globe on its plinth in Showdown Town - 15G

Requires 15 Jiggies banked
The plinth for this one is a little diferent from the previous ones, you need to take it down to the Docks, opposite Boggy's Gym, and there should be a dangling magnet (like the ones you see at the end of cranes) once the Globe is there, you should not be able to move it, there is an isalnd behind you with a crane on top, make your way up the island (you will need your vehicle with high grip tyres) and then climb the crane to the top and their should be a lever there, twist the lever then a cut-secne should kick in of the Globe making it's way to it's plinth.

  • Super Banjo Universe - Place the Terrarium of Terror Game Globe on its plinth in Showdown Town - 20G

Requires 50 Jiggies Banked
This one will require you to unlock the Scuba Seat, which can be unlocked by beating Gunty in Act 3 in the Jiggosseum world. When you have the scuba seat go to big 'Fortress like' round building, look anound the building for an underwater entrance when you founf this turn of f the floaters on you vehicle, leave the Globe just before you go underwater (as it floats and can not go underwater), make your way though the cave when you finally reach dry land their should be a lever there, twist the leaver to drain the water then bring the globe though and up on the ramp until you finally find the plinth.


Jiggy Collecting Achievements


  • My First Bank - Bank your first Jiggy in Showdown Town - 10G
  • Little Banker - Bank 10 Jiggies in Showdown Town - 20G
  • Big Banker - Bank 30 Jiggies in Showdown Town
  • Shower of Gold - Bank 60 Jiggies in Showdown Town - 40G
  • Jiggillionare! - Bank 131 Jiggies in Showdown Town - 50G

These achievements are for banking Jiggies, to bank a Jiggy you will first need to win one, then go get it from the world related Jiggy dispenser, then you will need to put them in the tray of your vehicle and drive them to the main square of Showdown Town, there is a big vacuum thing their that will suck up your Jiggies adding to your total.

Witch Hunt

Defeat Grunty at the end of the game - 50G

WARNING! If you want all the achievements get the achievement "Burn the Witch!" because you can not get that achievement after you have this one.

You will need to get 75 Jiggies to open the door in L.O.G.'s tower, then you will need to beat L.O.G.'s challenge, then find Grunty to do her challenge, it is quite though if you are not 100% sure of what you are doing. Basically you have to destroy Grunty's 5 vehicles but you are resticted to one vehicle that vehicle has to be able to go on ground a fly as well, you will need a lot of weapons.

Trophy Achievements

  • My First Trophy - Earn a T.T. Trophy from any challenge -10G
  • Few Trophy Pts - Earn 10 T.T. Trophies from any challenges - 20G
  • More Trophy Pts - Earn 30 T.T. Trophies from any challenges - 30G
  • A lot of Trophy Pts - Earn 60 T.T. Trophies from any challenges - 40G

Trophies are won by completing challenges by a certain time or a certain distance etc. If you are having trouble with beating the the time there is a way you can look at how the top 10 people of that challenge have done it, you can do this by pressing the 'Start' button (out of a challenge) then go across until you can see the option for 'View leaderboards' then find the challenge you are having trouble with and press the 'Y' button on any of the top ten, if the user has alowed it, you will be able to download that blueprint to use assuming you have unlocked all of the parts that it uses, if not you may be able to get a few ideas from watching these replays.

Parts Achievements

  • Pimped Up - Complete the Showdown Town Trolley with Parts won from Grunty battles - 20G

    To unlock parts for your Trolley you will need to beat Grunty in her Boss Battles here is a list of the bass battles and what they unlock

    Nutty Acres, Act 3: High Grip Tyres
    LOGBOX 720, Act 3: Floaters
    Banjoland, Act 4: Spring
    Jiggoseum, Act 4: Scuba Seat
    Jiggoseum, Act 5: Laser
    Terranium of Terror, Act 5: Horn

    You will need to upgrade your vehicle to unlock new worlds (see above), and collect more crates also if you want to see more of Showdown Town than just the main square you will need to unlock the High Grip Tyres to get up the green slopes.
  • Be Crateful - Find and return two crates to Mumbo's Motors - 15G

You will find crates around Showdown Town, it shouldn't be a problem to find two crates, especially when you have unlocked the High Grip Tyres, when you have found the crates take them to Mumbo's Motors, in the main square, there will be a pink square put the crate on that square and speak to Mumbo.

  • Blueprint Buyout - Buy a blueprint from Humba in Showdown Town - 15G

Find Humba in the main square in Showdown Town opposite Mumbo's Motors, you will need some Jiggies to buy a blueprint, but you will not need a lot.

Jingo and Minjo Achievements

  • Start to Free the Showdown Six - Free and re-house a Jingo in Showdown Town -15G

For this achievement you will only need to free one of the Jingos, I think there is one behind the building to the right of Mumbo's Motors, but all you have to do is take the Jingo to the coloured house the Jingo is and drop him off in front of his house.

  • Vigilante - Lock up a Minjo in Showdown Town -15G

After you free a Jinjo there should be a Minjo hanging around the jail cell that the Jinjo was in you need to hit him with you wrench then take him to the jail cell to lock him up.

Speed Achievements

  • Speedy of the Colossus - Build a vehicle with 200 blocks or more and go over a set speed - 25G

The way I got this was to bulid a vehicle 2 blocks wide and made it as long as possible with a few large engines and all of the stuff it needs to move, then went to Nutty Acres on the start menu changed my vehicle to L.O.G.'s Trainer Plane and went as high as possible, when I was their changed my vehicle again to the one I created then fell and held the right trigger to unlock the aachievement.

  •  Minimalist - Build a vehicle with five blocks or less and go over a set speed - 25G

The best way to do this is to build a vehicle that is just a spring attached to a seat go to the test-o-track and you should be able to get it from that.

  • Whoa Nelly! - Travel in a vehicle over a set speed - 25G

Make a narrow vehicle that is made out of fuel cells and engines and make it so the back of the vehicle is at a 45 degree angle with springs at the back to give you an extra boost.

Other Achievements

  • Stop 'n' Swop - Return a Stop 'n' Swop crate to Mumbo's Motors - 0G

This achievement requiers the original Banjo Kazooie game off XBLA, but if you do not have the original Banjo Kazooie (There must be something wrong with you it is one of the best games ever made and holds up really well on the XBLA, save up its 1200 MS points!) anyway like I was saying, its not all bad if you don't have the game beacuse this is a 0 point achievement.
But basically, there are 6 different coloured eggs and an Ice key hidden around the original Banjo Kazooie, around Showdown Town there are the coloured eggs painted on the walls when you find an egg in the original BK, by the corresponding egg that is painted on the wall in Showdown Town, a create will appear take that to the normal place you would for a create and when you talk to Mumbo you should unlock an achievement.

  • Roid Rage - Train Banjo once in the Showdown Town gym - 15G

This is a very easy achievement to get, all you need to do is find Boggy's Gym which is by the docks, and buy an upgrade for Banjo, I think the cheepest one is 20 jiggies.

  • BBQ Beef - In Nutty Acres, they like their steak well done - 20G

This one is quite simple, get a cow into the volcano in the middle of Nutty Acres.

  • Massive damage - Aim at the 10 legs for massive damage - 20G

In the world Logbox 720, in the center on the ground floor their is a brain in a case with 10 gold legs around it, simply knock off the 10 legs to get the achievements.

  • Test your strength - Roll up, show the whole of Banjoland how strong you are - 20G

In Banjoland, in the water there is a big cactus, under the cactus there is a red button build a big vehicle that can fly and is heavy enough, to hit the button hard enough to get the achievement.

  • Great Balls of Fire - Take a heavy ball around the Jiggosseum and get a buring sensation - 20G

To get this achievement you will need the sticky ball, if you go in the Jiggosseum you will see a few bowling balls at one end of the Jiggosseum grab one of the balls with your sticky ball and fly it up to one of the flames on the outside of the Jiggosseum (near the top) keep it on the flame for a few seconds and that should be achievement unlocked.

  • Ultimate Combo
  • Floater in the pipe - Eeurgh! That's not going to help the Test-O-Track plumbing

For this achievement you will need to get the football that is floating in the air in the test-o-track into the tunnel at the bottom of the test-o-track, the best way to do this is to get a powerful plane with a sticky ball at the end.

  • Burn the Witch! - Showdown Town witch hunt - 20G

You will need to get this achievement before you get the Witch Hunt achievement, for this achievement you will need to unlock the laser from Jiggosseum Act 5, when you get the laser go to the main square where Grunty is and shoot you laser at her.

  • Head for Heights - Find the best view in Showdown Town - 20G

For this you will need to get on top of L.O.G.'s tower, the place you start is around the back of the tower, there is a red electrical wire hanging down go up on to that and make you way on to the top of the tower

  • Fuzz Off! -  POP goes the Weasel! - 20G

For this achievement you will need to destroy a police car in showdown town, you can do this by hiting with your wrench or you can use the laser on trolley.

  • Paint Your Wagon - Paint any part of your vehicle in Mumbo's Motors - 10G

This is done in Mumbo's motors, in one of the arches next to the exit.

  • Loose Change
  • Arcade Pwner - Finish all levels of Klungo's Arcade game - 20G

The arcade is on the end of the pier you unlock new levels by winning more Jiggies

Multiplayer Achievement list

Multiplayer Achievement Guide


League Achievements

  • Sunday League - Play and complete a multiplayer game League - 20G
  • Premier League - Play in and complete a marathon multiplayer game League (Every Race, Every Sport or Every Race and Sport) - 40G

These achievements can be won in the multiplayer mode of the game, for these achievements you will need to go to the Xbox Live menu and change where it says ranked match to league.

Matchmaking Achievements

  • What's That Smell? - Play an XBOX LIVE multiplayer game against a Banjo Team Member, or somebody who has already done so - 10G

This is a viral achievement, so if you play with someone who has this achievement you will also get the achievement.
You can tell who the Banjo Team Members are because the Banjo they control will have Sunglasses.

  • High Fives All Round - Be on the winning team in a ranked team game - 10G

For this achievement you have to be in a ranked team game.

  • Alll My Own Work - Win a ranked solo game with a custom vehicle - 10G

This will need to create your own vehicle, it can be one you created in single player or one you created in the multiplayer test-o-track, you can only get this achievement in a ranked solo match, you will not get it for a team match. You are not guaranteed to get a "Players Choice" match you could get a "L.O.G.'s Choice" which means a vehicle is given to you, you will not be able get the achievements from a "L.O.G.'s Choice" match.

  • Too Easy! - Win a ranked solo race by reversing over the finish line - 10G
  • Too Easy Too! - Win a ranked solo race by running or swimming over the finish line - 20G

For these achievements you have to be in a ranked match and it has to be a solo race.

  • Are you Trophy Thomas? - Win 20 Xbox LIVE ranked multiplayer games in any mode - 40G

This can be both solo ranked matches and team ranked matches.
