Black Lightsaber Crystal Guide *With Video* v1.1

This guide is here to guide you on how to get the Black Lightsaber Crystal. This guide may or may not have spoilers depending on your definition, so you have been warned. I am also aware that this method is perhaps just one way of getting the Holocron that contains the Crystal, I like this way, it works and it takes about 10 minutes maximum depending on your skill with Force Grip.

I thirdly realize that this is not the way the developer perceived us the player getting this Holocron and instead envisioned us doing a maneuver that involves a combination of double jump and force moves, but it's all about making a tiny bit of a pixle forward and I just can't do it. This way works every time and is EASY.

That is what Developers get for putting physics in a game. :D



The Black Lightsaber Crystal is located at the top of the Laser array on the last level of the game. When you enter the room where you are instructed to activate the Graviton Lifts, clear the room of enemies.

This I can't stress enough.

If you clear the room of enemies they can't knock you back into a laser. That sucks, trust me. It goes without saying that you should avoid the lasers during firing, don't take risks. Take you time.

Once you've cleared the room, collect the other Holocrons if you like (one on the Third floor on right behind the door and one on the Second on left) But, do not land on the observation deck. You can get that Holocron after you have the black Lightsaber.

Once you've done that, take one of the Graviton lifts to the very top.

The Holocron containing the Black Lightsaber Crystal is located at the top of the laser room on top of the highest laser at the receiving end of the laser tunnel.

The Method is simple, after some discovery I found that you can remove the rings that focus each beam. These rings are invincible to the lasers (very important). Also, you can stand on them (do you see where I'm going with this?). So without further ado, this is how you do it.


Find the gangway that leads through the middle of the top laser tunnel (see image).


To get it flat will require a bit of careful finger work.

1. First lift the ring and drag it out,








2. Move it along the rail and lower it slightly, and tap the bottom of the ring against it's previous housing, this should get it moving sideways.









3. Push the ring up against the roof of the rail and it should become flat.









4. Place it lightly on the ground. When i say lightly I mean it, if you're rough it will break into bits and can cause other rings near by to do the same.









When you've done this get another ring and do the same. When placing a ring on top of another ring be careful it's all about the light touch. Do this five times.

"Wait...Five times? But there are only three rings per tunnel!" I hear you cry. Well yes this is true, you are going to have to fetch two rings from another tunnel, flatten the rings first then lay them down near the stack you already have get closer and lightly place them on top.

Warning! Do not place them on the Graviton lift platforms as it could lift them off and cause a domino moment, not the pizza kind (that would be nice), the "oh **** I have to start it over again" kind which is not fun and doesn't come with free garlic bread.

Now that you've stacked them, stand on the top Graviton lift platform  jump onto the rings and on to the top of the laser tunnel. Once there walk along and collect your spoils. :D
