The Skinny

My first guide ever with a simple achievement guide for Castle Crashers. Hope you like it.

Achievements

Kay Eye Ess Ess (15)

Collect all 4 princesses' kisses in a multiplayer game.

Simply play through the game's story to unlock this achievement online or offline. There is no specific order and the game keeps track of which princess you have made out with so single one shot play throughs aren't necessary.

Traditional (20)

Complete the game using any character.

Once again playing through the game's main story will have you bag this achievement. You must go through each level to have this achievement unlock. If you've finished the game with friends and this hasn't unlocked, chances are you missed a level somewhere on the world map. Checking if you have all the relics and that there are no locked stages helps.

The Traitor (20)

Defeat any boss by playing one of his own minions.

The easiest way to grab this achievement is to play the barbarian boss fight right at the get go. It's one of the easiest fights in the game and in order to unlock his minion (Barbarian) you have to win a single player arena match in the King's Arena, which is also the closest and easiest arena in the game.

Deer Trainer (20)

Navigate the Abandoned Mill without hitting any obstacles.

This achievement is a tad harder than the previous ones but it's really simple to get. In the Abandoned Windmill stage just avoid all the obstacles (logs, walls) to unlock it. I found that if there is a deer that isn't being controlled by a player then it will automatically align itself with the doors before you actually see it coming. My advice would be to just follow the path that the computer controled deer is going. It may take you a few tries but the obstacle course is short enough to memorize.

Conscientious Objector (20)

Complete the Home Castle through the Barbarian Boss without attacking any foes.

This achievement is more set for multiplayer sessions rather than by yourself. It's a simple have whoever is with you do all the work for the first few levels until you get past the barbarian boss.

Don't have anyone to play with at the moment but have two controllers? Then yeah, you could start a local multiplayer game and have your account off to the corner while you hack away with your other controller.

Maximum Firepower (10)

Using a catapult, fling a knight at maximum power.

In the Flowery Fields there will be a point where you will have to fling your knight to the castle afar. Simply reach maximum power to unlock this achievement. The power meter stops a little bit after you press X so the timing may be a little tricky. The catapult sequence is also not very far off from the start of the level so retries aren't so hectic.

Animal Handler (20)

Collect all the animals.

You'll probably have to invest a lot of time into this one. But hey Castle Crashers is fun as hell right? So these orbs should be no problem.

Fortunately there already exists a solid animal orb guide courtesy of Joker that can be found here.

Arena Master (15)

Win 40 arena ranked matches.

Very self explanatory and yes this achievement can be infact boosted.

Glork (15)

Win 20 all you can quaff ranked matches.

Another self explanatory one. This achievement can also be boosted.

Melee Is Best (15)

Defeat any boss without using magic.

Very self explanatory. I got this one on my first time through the barbarian level fighting the barbarian boss. I really didn't know magic was even an ability you could use at this point. If you decided to pump your magic early on in the game it will take a bit more effort on your part with the button mashing but it is very doable.

Treasure Hunter (20)

Find and dig up 10 buried items.

It's a pretty self explanatory achievement. In the Desert level you will come across a shovel that you can use to dig up distinct X's on the ground. Just dig up 10 X's and the achievement is yours no matter what the treasure may be.

Medic! (10)

In a 4 player game, resuscitate each of your comrades at least once.

If you have 3 other people you know that can play this game offline with you then it can be done easily.

In online sessions the achievement will also unlock with guests present.

Misc stuff

Feel free to comment on any section that you think needs work on and I will personally tweak it. This is my first guide after all. Also if many people have found this guide helpful in anyway I will certainly write more achievement guides, and probably even indepth walkthroughs, on games comming out or already are existing in the market. Thanks for reading and I hope you found it helpful.
