Chili's Trophy Guide for WipeOut HD v1.12

V1.0: Hi in this guide you will find the list of all the trophies you can get in the game as well as their value. The list currently will be incomplete as some of the trophies are hidden, if you find any hidden trophies which are not in this guide please PM so I can add them. Perhaps in the future I will also add tips or a guide to get certain difficult ones.

V1.1: I have added all the hidden trophies, future edits will include tips. If you have any to add please PM me!

V1.11: Just added a tip on how to get flatland flyer and backstory on Beat Zico trophy, if someone has a video on Beat Zico, I would be much obliged

V1.12: Added tips on the gold trophies and was actually missing one, much apologies. I may add my Beat Zico strategy later on, but it's a bitch to get that trophy

Trophies are the PS3 equivalent to Xbox 360 achievements, they are linked to your profile and define your gamer level. They will also be available to see in a trophy room when home comes out and they can be compared to other friends in your list. Trophies also have different values assigned to their type, so bronze trophies give less experience than gold ones. I will now list the trophies of WipEout HD in the order in which they appear in your trophy collection.

• Uplift - Obtain a medal for every cell in Uplift
• Warped - Obtain a medal for every cell in Warped
• Frenzy - Obtain a medal for every cell in Frenzy
• Vertigo - Obtain a medal for every cell in Vertigo
• Head Rush - Obtain a medal for every cell in Head Rush
• Speed Freak - Obtain a medal for every cell in Speed Freak
• Dropzone - Obtain a medal for every cell in Dropzone
• Meltdown - Obtain a medal for every cell in Meltdown
• Deadly Momentum (Hidden) - Get eliminated in a novice race
• Smile Please (Hidden) - Use Photo Mode to take a photo
• Rookie Reward (Hidden) - Win any race with Pilot Assist on.
• 1 Gold Medal won, 86 to go... (Hidden) - Obtain your first gold medal
• Happy Accident? (Hidden) - Execute your first successful barrel roll
• Keep Rollin' (Hidden) - Execute 100 successful barrel rolls
• Gemini (Hidden) - Complete 20 two-player, split-screen races.
• Sponge (Hidden) - Absorb 500 items.
• Bling Brigade (Hidden) - Finish an eight player online race with all players using ships that are displaying Campaign Skins.

TIP: You have to use the "bling" skins that you get after getting a medal in each cell at campaign

• Mercenary (Hidden) - Get at least 500 loyalty points for each team.
• Motion Master (Hidden) - Win a Campaign or Racebox race with the motion sensor option set to 'pitch and steering'. Directional buttons, Left Stick & Pilot Assist cannot be used to obtain this trophy.
• Thanks for the Memory (Hidden) - Win a Campaign, Racebox or Online race using each HUD style variation.
• Flatland Flyer - Execute and land a successful barrel roll on Moa Therma

                TIP: The way to get this trophy is to use the boost pad on the last curve in Moa Therma to crash on the left side and come out flying. Here are two links to  youtube videos showing this: Link 1, Link 2.

• Own The Zone - Get 20 consecutive perfect zones in a single Zone Mode event
• Double Kill - Eliminate at least two opponents in any race
• Endurance - Finish an online 12 race tournament
• Connected 1 - Finish 10 online races

• Zone Zeus - In Zone Mode, reach Zone 75 on any track
• Elite Campaign Legend - Obtain a gold medal for every cell in Race Campaign on Elite difficulty.
• Arcade Perfect - Finish 1st on all 16 tracks in Phantom class Racebox races on Elite difficulty.

TIP: You can use weapons on/off and pilot assist if it helps

• Beat Zico - Equal or beat the lap time of 30.82 seconds on Anulpha Pass (Forward), Speed Lap, Venom using the Piranha

           Explanation:
"A few of us in the team had a long running competition with a very specific ruleset - Anulpha Pass/Forwards/Speed Lap/Venom/Pirahna. We were setting some impressive times. Every now and then someone would find a new tactic, a new line to take through a corner or another barrel roll opportunity, and shave a fraction of a second off the fastest time. We think we’ve found the optimal route now, so it’s all about a flawless execution of that line. We spent a lot of time on this competition, so we decided to make a trophy out of it. When it came to submitting the lap time, Zico Liu (one of our programmers) was top of the table, so he got the naming rights. Obtaining the gold ‘Beat Zico’ trophy is no easy task, so best of luck. Zico has since beaten his own time, and so has Stephen Taylor".

TIP: This is an extremely unfair trophy and I find it apalling, after trying to get for quite some time I managed to get 31.02 seconds for a near perfect lap, that ranks me around 300ish worldwide at the time of this wirting only around 200 people have achieved this damn trophy, although I know exactly what I missed and how to better my time quite frankly this trophy is unachievable for the vast majority of people, if you can't get this don't feel bad, if you do get it you can gloat all you want and call me a sissy if you wish but I am giving up and am actually quite proud of my world rank.

• Livery Liberation - Unlock every ship skin in the game.

TIP: For this you have to get the "bling" skins by getting a medal in each campaign cell and get 8000 loyalty points with each team
