GTA IV: The Lost and the Damned

This is an achievement guide for the downloadable expansion pack for Grand Theft Auto IV called "The Lost and Damned".
The expansion adds 5 new achievements worth 250 GS; bringing the grand total of GTA IV up to 1250 GS.

TLAD: One Percenter - 5 GS

Help Billy get his bike back. (The Lost and Damned)

Story related. It will unlock after you complete the first mission.

TLAD: The Lost Boy - 25 GS

Become leader of The Lost. (The Lost and Damned)

Story related. It will unlock when you're about halfway through the storyline.

TLAD: Easy Rider - 100 GS

Finish the story. (The Lost and Damned)

Story related. It will unlock when you complete the game right after you've watched/skipped the credits.

TLAD: Full Chat - 70 GS

Build Terry and Clay's toughness to 100%. (The Lost and Damned)

Your gang members will gain stat bonuses whenever they've helped you out. To get Terry and Clay to help you, simply call either one of them from you mobile phone during a mission, and they will arrive in about 10-20 seconds. I recommend calling them as often as you can during the completion of the storyline, since they're actually a great help. When you complete a mission, Clay and Terry will leave you and you''ll see a progress bar of their toughness in the upper left corner.

If this achievement doesnt unlock during your playthrough of the storyline, I recommend bringing them with you to some gang wars. (Gang wars will unlock about halfway through the game, and they will pop up all over the map; you can't miss them.)

TLAD: Get Good Wood - 50 GS

In the bike races, whack off 69 bikers with a bat. (The Lost and Damned)

During the bike races, press and hold either X (left attack) or B (right attack) to charge up an attack and unleash it upon an unfortunate competitor. It's important to hold the button down for some time before releasing it, else it won't hit hard enough to whack them off their bikes. There are a total of 12 different races with 7 competitors in each and you'll need to whack off 69 riders in total. Note that it doesn't have to be 69 different drivers; you can whack the same competitor multiple times.

This achievement unlocked for me as I was doing the 10th race, and I wasn't even particularly aiming for it. If you, however, haven't got the achievement after the 12 initial races, you can just compete in some more. If you want to get this achivement as fast as possible, you could stay in the back of the race on focus on knocking the slow riders off multiply times. You most likely won't win the race, but the knock-offs still count towards this achivement.
