The player controls the Overlord. The player controls the Overlords actions and what the player chooses causes the Overlord to be more corrupt or less corrupt. The player is also in control of Minions, a creepy cast of characters that obey the Overlord's every command. The minions are the ones who freed the Overlord from his coffin and tasked him with rebuilding his tower and taking out the corrupt "heroes" who destroyed the tower and killed his predecessor. All of the seven heroes have fallen to one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Gnarl gives suggestions to the Overlord throughout the game. The minions also obey every command from the Overlord and are happy to die for him.

1. Power up the Tower
Retrieve the Tower Heart to power up the Tower.

Retrieve a Crane to start rebuilding the Tower.

Get yourself a little company and some help spending your money.
