Unlockables

Complete certain tasks to gain access to additional bonuses.

Hard Mode

Complete Prototype's story arc on Normal to gain access to the Hard difficulty.

New Game +

Complete Prototype's story arc to unlock New Game + for that difficulty setting and all lower difficulty settings.

More Events

Earn Gold rewards on all events to unlock access to Platinum-level challenges. Completing Platinum events unlocks Radical events (not for the faint of heart).

Additional Karen Parker Cutscene

Complete the hard Military Consume Events to learn the location of Karen Parker and be treated to an additional in-game cutscene.

Maybe you knew about these already; maybe you didn't.

Cheat Code

For some reason, an entire cheat code menu was added to the game for the sake of one cheat (unless there are others that people have yet to discover...). At this menu, enter RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, DOWN, UP, UP, UP, DOWN to unlock access to the Body Surf ability. This is the same ability you may purchase for evolution points.

Mode-switching Cutscenes

Activate cutscenes and watch Alex Mercer display each of his offensive, defensive, and visual powers. To do so, simply activate the power by holding down the "activate previous ability" key (the d-pad for those using a controller).
